Time With Myself

by Krystal K.L. Shaffer

When I spend time
With myself
I’m never alone
Light sunrise, a new day
The sun….
Not always shown.
Dark night, accented with stars
Glistening, sparkling….
Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Mars
Strangers here, there
All around, invading…
My cloud unknown.
Treasures not found, adventures uncharted
No wish to own.
My mind a current outracing the tide
Venice, Paris, Sicily and Rome.
When I spend time with myself I’m never alone.
